Get Up, Get into It, Get Involved was released as a two-part single in late 1970. In this super tight and funky live J.B.'s performance from 1971, co-writer Bobby Byrd joins in on backing vocals.
The track first charted on Cash Box's Top 100 Singles charts on December 26, 1970, reaching #63 with a bullet. It would peak at #35 five weeks later on January 30, 1971.
